December 2025 Update: A Cycle Ends, And Your New Path Begins

Hey Gods & Goddesses,

2025 is coming to a close, can you even believe it?

We’re not just wrapping up one year, though. This year, a “9 Year” in numerology, has also marked the end of a 9-year-cycle, and it’s a biggie.

Think back to nine years ago in your own life. Where were you? What were you doing? WHO were you? Now, focus on how far you’ve come since then.

I’m betting it’s safe to say you're a totally different person, and in a good way. I know I am.

When I tuned into the energy of December, I was called to reach for a few of my favorite oracle decks. The first card that came out was:

The Hidden Path: The Marriage of Spirit and Matter

Visually, this card holds a lot of messages, but the few that caught my attention were an ankh, an eye and a sun…

The message is that it’s time to look a little deeper. Remember those pictures that forced you to squint and shift your perspective to see a totally new picture underneath? That’s what I’m seeing for December. You have to adjust your eyes to see the real picture.

It’s easy to miss what’s right in front of you, especially if it’s your next step…or a totally new path altogether. Imagine looking for your glasses when they’re on top of your head, or, and I’m guilty of this one, looking for your phone while you’re talking on your phone! This new path is so close, you have to zoom out a bit to see it.

We’ve been drawn into distraction in recent months, with everything going on in the world, but it’s time to refocus, to come back to yourself, and stop putting so much importance on things that are beyond your control, like downturns in the economy, and other things that may or may not ever happen. I’m not saying to turn a blind eye, or be ignorant of what’s happening, but the only way to affect change in the world is to create your best life. This is how you help the most people in the long run, not by giving all your energy away to distractions that won’t do anything for your future self, or anyone else around you.

When you continue to focus on the reality you want to create, and learn to turn off the external voices, like people in your life telling you what to think about, what to stand up for, what to pay attention to, and what to be afraid of, your new path will open up right in front of you…where it’s been all along.

Your life, your reality, is where this “Nine Energy,” this energy of completion, is leading you, into the next phase of your journey. Doors are closing, and this is a good thing! Let them close! You’ve completed parts of your life that were important, challenging, and got you here to this moment, but you need to find your glasses on top of your head so you can see what’s in front of you now, not what’s behind you.

It’s time to take that step. It’s time for a new beginning.

December is about seeing that new beginning with fresh eyes.

What a beautiful energy for December to wrap up 2025 and this major cycle. It goes perfectly with the holiday season that we’re in, doesn’t it? Enjoying yourself, enjoying each other, enjoying good food, and celebrating life with intention! This month urges us to sink into the sweetness of RIGHT NOW. Be in the moment. Love and live this completion energy, make love to life, enjoy the sensual pleasure of every minute…because we’re about to be launched forward into the NEW.

I’m experiencing this wrap-up in my own life as I say goodbye to some pretty major parts of who I once was. I’m planning for the next phase now, but at the same time, enjoying the moments that I know are coming to an end.

We never know how much time we have in each situation, with each person who comes into our lives, but when we’re in the moment, we can appreciate it, and then move on when it’s time. For those of us who are parents, do you remember the last time your child reached out to hold your hand? If your kids are young, it may have been just yesterday, but when they get older, you realize one day that you don't even remember the last time at all. Because, of course, you didn't know that would be the last time. When you’re in that phase, it feels like it’s never going to end, and this can be good and bad. It can overwhelm you, but if you can stand back and see it for what it is, as fleeting and beautiful, then you sink into it and experience the sweetness of it. 

This is what December is bringing. That sweetness of each moment, and the ability to let it go when it’s time, because you know there are so many more sweet moments to come. 

What large cycles are you wrapping up?

If you notice that you’re holding on, ask yourself why. Are you doing that human ego thing where we can’t end something without a “good reason?” Do you need to tell yourself a story about how bad it was so you feel justified in letting it end? 

Why isn’t it okay for something to just…END?

Why do we need a reason? 

If you need permission to close a door simply because it no longer feels aligned, here it is! We don’t need a traumatic story for every ending. We can just walk away, in peace, in kindness, in the knowing that it’s the right thing to do. We can just be okay with it being over.

Doesn’t that feel good?

Have gratitude for what it was in your life, for what it was to you, and then move on.

We’re in a bit of a waiting place right now, this month, but it’s temporary. This feeling of not knowing where to go is coming to an end. And we need to let it. How? By being grateful for the rest stop.

Sacred Places and Guardians!

You may find yourself called to visit sacred places in 2026, or sooner. It could be anywhere on the planet, near your home, or far, far away. When a place calls you, it’s because there are keys or codes that you will activate just by walking on the land, and the Earth, in turn, will activate codes within you that have been dormant. What better reason is there for traveling to new and beautiful places?

If you’re called, answer.

Whatever you’re desiring in your life is your soul’s path. Remember that. When you listen, you’re operating from your Higher Self. If you’re not one to just pick up and go places, but a town, a state, a country, maybe even a continent, is suddenly calling you, then you’re being asked to activate the next level of YOU. This message might not be for everyone. As always, take what resonates in this update, and leave the rest.

A few more cards:

Family.

This could apply to biological family, or soul family. Many of us find that the families we’re born into end up not being soul family, and that’s okay. If a door is closing here for you, let it. Sometimes, the holidays can bring challenging family dynamics and situations. You are under no obligation to be a part of it. Do what’s best for you, including saying no to people who are no longer aligned with who you’re becoming.

I pulled another card and out came:

Chaco Canyon.

Wow. I’ve been to this ancient, magical place, and if it’s calling you, I highly recommend checking it out. I went through a lot of profound shifts after visiting here.

It was built by the Anasazi in what is now New Mexico as far back as the 3rd century, and holds so many codes, you can feel it! It’s one of those places that can’t be explained. The technology was way ahead of its time, and the daily lifestyle like nothing else that existed at that time. The whole area has some powerful energy.

I don’t know about you, but I love places like that! Look it up! Chaco Canyon may hold some codes for you, like it did for me.

NOTE: It’s very difficult to get there by car, as the road is very rutted and bumpy. Be prepared to go slow and take a vehicle with a strong axle and powerful transmission.

I pulled one more card to wrap up this…well, wrap up energy!

It’s time to begin to step off the old path with gratitude and onto the new. Let the doors close. Let the old die. Let the next phase show itself. If there were bad things about your previous path, that’s okay. You don’t have to live there anymore. Accept it all as the beautiful journey it is, moving you forward with crystal clarity now as we come into 2026.

Enjoy each sweet moment as it unfolds, loving each one for exactly what it is.
